What Bastion stores, why, and for how long.
What we store
Your wallet address, the positions you open, and the ledger of what happened to them. That is the product — a staking interface that forgot your positions would not be one.
We do not ask for a name, an email address or a phone number, and there is no account to create beyond a signature.
What we do not store
Private keys, seed phrases, or anything that could move your funds. We never see them; your wallet signs locally and sends us the signature.
Cookies
One cookie, holding a signed session token, so you stay connected between visits. It is not used for advertising and it is not shared. Clearing it signs you out; your positions are unaffected.
On-chain data
Once a transaction is on a public blockchain it is public, permanent and outside our control. Anything you do on chain can be read by anyone, including by services that link addresses to identities. That is a property of the chain, not of this site.
Retention and requests
Off-chain records are kept while the account is active and for as long afterwards as the law requires. To ask what is held about an address you control, or to request deletion of what can legally be deleted, write to privacy@example.com from a wallet signature proving control of it.
